Consumer Reports' Luddites strike again
Tue, 04 Dec 2012I am a technological wizard. At least that's the conclusion to which I've come after reading the January issue of Consumer Reports, which calls Cadillac CUE, the automaker's new infotainment system, “maddening.” After all, I had figured out CUE in a matter of minutes while acclimating myself to our Best of the Best ATS sedan last month. Video: How DGT Architects created Renault's Paris show stand
Mon, 29 Oct 2012The creators of the Renault stand at this year's Paris motor show have released a video explaining how they created one of the most popular show stands in recent years. A total of 388 large squashed light globes that softly glowed a variety of colors were hung from the ceiling and simulated the movements of waves as they illuminated the stand below. To convey a sense of motion to the cars underneath, DGT used the movement of the lights and the creation of two hills.
