Kiekhaefer Mercury Mark V outboard motor (incomplete)This auction is for an old/vintage Kiekhaefer Mercury Mark 5 outboard boat motor. The motor is mechanically complete but is currently not functional. The two cylinders produce good compression when turned over. Some work is needed to put it back into use. Additionally the lower cowling is not present.

A 1988 Lamborghini Countach, actually made by Lamborghini of Italy in 1988 (at the Lamborghini factory) has been neglected like the Trans Am that's been sitting in your uncle's shed since the Carter administration. We're pretty sure there's a scary story about how this Countach ended up this way, but we're not sure we want to hear it -- it'll be too depressing.
CAR’s £1000 support for upcoming journalists – in honour of Phil Llewellin
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Phil Llewellin Student Journalist of the Year award will go to the best student writer from the motoring journalism courses at Coventry and Cardiff Universities. The winner receives £1000 and also a work experience placement at CAR magazine, whose pages were graced by Phil Llewellin’s work until his untimely death in 2005. Entries for the award, run by the Guild of Motoring Writers, must be received by 30 September, with the winner announced at the RAC Club in London on 5 December.
