About us:

We offer a large variety of items and do not specialize in any one area.  The majority of our items are acquired through estates, home sales, storage bins, closeouts etc. We describe them to the best of our ability and use multiple photos to help aid you in your bidding decisions. If you have any questions or concerns please email prior to bidding as we are not specialty sellers and something that may seem obvious to you regarding an item may not be obvious to us. All items are as pictured and described to the best of our abilities.

Regarding Classes of Mail and Delivery Times:

We are a small operation and ship out twice a week. Due to this please expect a minimum of five business days (even though most orders will ship out sooner). We appreciate your business so please respect our posted processing time.

Orders placed between 9:01 am on Wednesday and 9:00am on Saturday will ship the following Tuesday (three days after Saturday). Orders placed between 9:01am on Saturday and 9:00am Wednesday will be shipped on Friday of that week.

While Media Mail and Parcel Post are cost effective they are also the slowest methods of transport. Within the continental U.S. (lower 48) these can take up to two or three weeks to arrive. When choosing these methods for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico expect delivery time of a month or more. This also applies to APO/FPO addresses. Please keep this in mind when choosing class of mail during checkout. DO NOT EXPECT TO RECEIVE MEDIA MAIL SHIPMENTS ANY SOONER THAN TWO WEEKS. Sometimes it may arrive quicker, most times this is not the case. In some instances when Parcel Post is chosen we may upgrade the shipment to Fed Ex Ground since they are a more efficient means of transport.

Priority Mail is generally 2-3 business days, however there is no guarantee of this. All domestic orders are shipped with some type of tracking information. This information will be emailed to you when your order is processed and in most cases will be available in the order details of our transaction. Since we process online you may not see any progress on your package for the first day or so as our local post office indicated to us that they are not required to scan these types of packages upon arrival. They will be scanned at the processing center and along the way to your residence / business.

Regarding Shipping Costs:

In most transactions we use the shipping calculator so you can determine the cost of having the item shipped to you prior to placing a bid or making an offer. Shipping is not only based on the weight of an item but also on the dimensions of the item after packaging as well as where you reside (an item shipped from the east coast to the west coast will cost significantly more than an item sent within the same state). Keep in mind that while some of our shipping prices may seem higher than other seller’s we take pride in our packaging. Take into consideration that the majority of the items we ship are boxed. We use bubble mailers only when they are suitable for safe delivery.

Returns:

If there is a problem with your shipment please contact us first and allow up to 48 hours for response (maximum). Give us the chance to solve your problem prior to taking your issue to ebay feedback. We're here to help. 947

Tesco Cars shuts up shop

Tue, 03 Apr 2012

Tesco Cars closed for business A year after launching Tesco Cars in conjunction with Carsite, Tesco reveals it is to close the used car operation. Tesco Cars was one of the latest Tesco sideways moves to use its vast revenues to dominate more and more business sectors in the UK. But it’s come to an ignominious end just twelve months after it was launched, piggy-backing on the existing Carsite business to try and flog used cars to customers who would rather deal with a big supermarket than a back street car lot.

Future Fiat 500 and Fiat Panda imagined by design students

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Students at the Royal College of Art in London were challenged to redesign the Fiat 500 and the Fiat Panda for the year 2020. Part of Fiat's "Two of a Kind" design training experience stretching out over three months, the competition attracted more than 50 entries. The design challenge was more than a competition to design the most effective exterior, as students were divided into several interdisciplinary teams and tasked with developing new solutions for the interiors and exteriors of both cars, integrating such concepts as interactivity, sustainability and global appeal into their designs.

Toyota to end Australian manufacturing in 2017

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

When Holden announced that it would no longer build cars in Australia after 2017, that country’s flagging automotive industry was effectively put on notice -- Mitsubishi had stopped building cars there in 2008, and Ford says its two plants there will close in October 2016. Now Toyota has announced that it has no option but to end vehicle Australian vehicle production. Like Holden, it will close its factories there in 2017.
