Vintage Lanagan Armature Tester or Growler

This item has not been tested and is not in working condition. The cord has aged with dry-rot and is in falling apart condition. I'm also unsure how to test this item if this cord was replaced. The wood base is marked "Lanagan; 115 volt; 50-60 cyc; Made in U.S.A." This measures 6 1/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide by about 4 1/2 inches deep. The base measures 6 9/16 inches deep by 5 inches wide by 1 inch tall. Also included are 4 testing probes.
An interesting old item! Contact me with any questions. Thank you.

New Suzuki Swift (2011) revealed

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

The 2011 Suzuki Swift revealed After a few leaked and spy pictures cropped up, Suzuki has decided to do the sensible thing and stick out some detail and an official picture to feed interest in the new Suzuki Swift, which is due to go on sale in the Autumn. The new Swift is bigger than the current car – 90mm longer and an extra 50mm in the wheelbase – but despite that it’s both lighter and stiffer which means more room, more performance and better dynamics. When the new Swift launches the existing 1.3 litre lump will be replaced by a new 1.2 litre Dual VVT producing 92bhp and 87lb’ft of torque.

Toyota Yaris (2011): first official pictures

Thu, 16 Jun 2011

Toyota has issued these first pictures of its new Yaris supermini. It's the third-generation Toyota Yaris and seems to mix some of the Vauxhall Corsa creases with the proportions of a Renault Clio. It's a pert, very Euro piece of design, neatly incorporating the latest Toyota motifs - and you can judge for yourself when it goes on sale here in summer 2011.
