This is a vintage leather motorcycle type cap with lace and anchor buttons. Size Medium. The lace has a purplish background and trim. Lace is stitched to the bill and around the perimeter of the cap. There is a decorative cording from button to button. The 2 buttons are brass, Anchor, buttons and have scuffs, a little rust and 1 is greenish (could probably be cleaned off with a wire brush). There is a scratch in the suede lining inside the bill of the cap (see 5th picture). The fabric inside the rim of the cap has discoloration. The opening measures approx. 7 1/2" on the inside from button to button. I'm pretty sure this is leather but I can't guarantee it (see the last picture for inside the cap)

M1 motorway changes 'risk lives'
Wed, 15 Jan 2014THE PROPOSED changes to the M1 motorway could put drivers’ lives at risk due to the removal of the hard shoulder, according to campaigners. The Association of British Drivers (ABD) says the lack of a continuous hard shoulder, combined with many vehicles' lack of a spare wheel, is a recipe for danger. The Highways Agency is currently assessing options for the M1 between junctions 28 and 35A that include a reduction in speed limit to 60mph to cut emissions pollution.
