Up for bid is a vintage radiator or gas cap. This has a beautiful design with an "M" stamped at the bottom.

The outer diameter measures approximately 3" across not including the decorative pieces that stick out. The inner diameter measures approximately 2 3/4" across. The two mounting tabs that stick out underneath measure approximately 1 21/32" across in diameter.

Stamped on the back is: THE STANT MFG. CO. CONNERSVILLE IND. Stanco PATS. PNDG.  M-2511.

Application: I'm not sure of the exact application. They may fit one or more of the cars in the title. Please do your own research.

Condition: This is in very good condition. Based on the previous owner, it was never used. The surface is nice and smooth. There are some pin prick sized indentations where the surface finish has worn away a bit. There are no cracks or breaks. The underside looks good. The mounting circle has some rust and damage, but is holding together well. The brass mounting tabs are very strong. This still has a bit of the original protective coat, and I'm guessing with a good polish, it will shine nicely.

Please take a look at the pictures provided. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If you need more pictures, just let us know. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

MG's new Chinese owners showed a Nissan Juke-alike concept car called the Icon at the 2012 Beijing motor show. Its footprint is identical to that of the original MG BT. Although a pure concept car, a spokesman confirmed that the study was a guide to what we could expect from future models from MG.

HPP turns Challenger into Superbird

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Those of you pining for the high-winged days of the Dodge Charger Daytona and Plymouth Superbird can open up your checkbooks and make one payable to Heide Performance Products out of Madison Heights, Mich. The company can turn any Dodge Challenger into a '70s-inspired pavement burner, though they leave the actual pavement-burning modifications up to you: the Superbird/Daytona kit is an appearance upgrade only. The full kit comes with a nose cone assembly ($5,999), three-piece wing ($2,499), functional Shaker hood and scoop ($2,499), rear aluminum louvers ($899), HPP Challenger hood pins ($179), Daytona or Superbird taillight overlays ($189), fender gills ($89), pistol-grip shift lever ($149) and rear diffuser ($1,299), or a total of $13,800.

Tesla Model X SUV delayed until 2015

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Tesla has revealed that its Model X SUV – based on the Model S – will be delayed until 2015 so Tesla can concentrate on Model S sales. Despite plenty of cynicism in the car industry that Tesla could deliver their Model S saloon at all, never mind at a reasonable cost, Tesla has confounded its critics by not only launching the Model S, but seemingly taking as many orders as it can handle. On the face of it, that’s not surprising.
