This is a complete, NOS vintage Mallory distributor two piece cap assembly, Mallory # 4002. This NOS distributor cap fits vintage YC and ZC Mallory 6 cylinder distributors and has never been installed. The brown bakolite cap has "M. Mallory" raised in the top and the Mallory "M" raised on the underside of the top and the Mallory part # 24008. The seal has the Mallory "M" and "V-24009" raised in the underside of the rubber. The cap base has the Mallory "M" and the Mallory part # 24007" raised in the underside and includes the center spring loaded carbon. This cap is in the original Mallory box bottom but the box top is missing. Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or worn 6 cylinder cap with an NOS Mallory original. Still Too Many Having One For The Road
Mon, 27 Jan 2014NEW figures point to an average of 200 drivers arrested per day for drink driving related offences over the past Christmas period. The data, from the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), show that 6,550 drivers gave positive breath tests or refused or failed to give a test out of 191,040 drivers. The campaign ran from November 29 to January 1 across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Fri, 11 Sep 2009The Toyota Auris Hybrid, which will debut at Frankfurt The Auris Hybrid will be the first Toyota Hybrid to be built in Europe – at Toyota’s UK plant. Scheduled to go on sale in the second half of 2010, the Auris hybrid utilises the same powertrain as the third-gen Prius, namely a 1.8 litre, 97bhp petrol engine with a bank of nickel-metal hydride batteries and an electric motor. This will give the Auris Hybrid a 0-60 mph time of around 10 seconds and emissions below the critical 100g/km (not 99g/km, by any chance?).
