Vintage Marine 4 1/4 inch Dory Compass by E.S. Ritchie & Sons, Boston USA In Wooden Box

This is still a good working instrument. It still finds magnitic north ;)

Writen on the card " WM Stairs Sons & Morrow, LTD., Halifax N.S., Made in U.S.A, "
It is stamped with the number 85210 on the rim.
It is in the original box and the top is missing.

This compass was used on a 48' (I think) longliner (Ecolite) in the dorys when swordfishing.
The ship sailed out of Halifax NS. Canada during the late 50s. Picture is included with the add.

The box is 6 5/8 inchs X 6 5/8 inchs X 2 3/4 Inches
The Compass is 4 1/4 Inches across.

Honda has revleased a video design sketch of its NSX Concept, due to be unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The company has also released new details concerning the NSX Concept, which was first seen at the Detroit Motor Show sporting an Acura badge. The new NSX is expected to indicate the direction in which they will be heading in terms of the design and technology of Honda's next-generation supercar, widely tipped to be available for purchase in the next few years.

-- The Pagani Zonda just refuses to die. World Car Fans is reporting the company is working on the Zonda X, based on the 760LM version. Like the 760LM, power is expected to come from a 7.3-liter AMG V12, and some sort of sequential gearbox.

Infiniti Q30 Concept revealed ahead of its Frankfurt debut

The Infiniti Q30 Concept (pictured) will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month It’s more than two years since theĀ Infiniti Etherea Concept concept arrived at the Geneva Motor Show to point the way towards Infiniti’s compact future, and now that future is almost here with the reveal of the Infiniti Q30 Concept following on from a teaser sketch of the Q30 earlier this month . Not that Infiniti has exactly thrown caution to the wind and sent us a whole raft of photos – just the single photo of the Q30 above – but it does give us a better idea of what Infiniti are aiming to do in the compact premium market. Based on the underpinnings of the new Mercedes A-Class – and probably using a mix of Mercedes and Renault engines – Infiniti want us to know that the Q30 isn’t just another addition to the ever increasing choice of premium crossovers, but a real of fusion of bodystyles.
