Here is a vintage red Mercruiser jacket in XL.  This is a jacket that belonged to my mother-in-law.  She moved into a smaller place so we are cleaning out her larger apartment.  She worked for 50 years for Mercury Marine and had gotten this jacket for a member of her family.  The jacket is in nice, vintage condition with no rips or holes.  There are dark stains around the cuffs but other than that there are no issues that I can see.

ALL ITEMS COME FROM A SMOKE FREE HOME

This is not a business, we are just 2 people with full time jobs who enjoy a hobby selling items we have picked up at rummage sales, estate sales, etc.  I enjoy finding vintage items but with 4 kids don't have room for collections, so I love to pass these items on to homes where they will be treasured.  We are not experts and descriptive words such as "excellent condition and minor wear" are just an opinion.  I will always be honest and list all flaws that I notice but, again, I am not an expert so please ask questions or ask for extra pictures before buying.  If there is a problem, please contact me first and we will try to work out any issues.  Thanks for looking at our auctions!!

Audi Q1 sub-compact SUV in 2016

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

The new Audi Q1 will look like a smaller Q3 (pictured) There was a time when saloon cars ruled the car sales charts, but they eventually went out of fashion to be replaced by the more practical hatchback. But, despite the demonising of the SUV by ‘green’ groups, compact SUVs/Crossovbers have become the favourite flavour for car buyers as they seek something practical and with the promise of a bit of go anywhere credentials (even if they are cosmetic rather than mechanical). So it’s no surprise to see cars like the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur starting to grab sales from small hatches.

June sales get a pick-me-up from pickups

Fri, 02 Jul 2010

If there's a bright spot in June's tepid light-vehicle sales, it came from an unlikely segment. After slumping for several years as the economy tanked and gas prices spiked, pickup demand is rising faster than the overall sales gains of most automakers--serving as a pillar once again during the industry's fledgling recovery. And most of the buyers returning to showrooms are pickup enthusiasts, automakers say.

Drivers 'still prefer printed maps'

MOST motorists still prefer printed maps when planning car journeys, according to an AA/Populus survey. Older drivers are the least happy with sat-nav, with only 9% of over-65s ditching printed maps altogether. Overall, 63% of the 23,824 drivers polled have used a printed map in the last six months, while 60% have used an in-car sat nav.
