This mirror is for a vintage General Motors car. I do not know the exact year. The dimensions of the mirror are 4 inches by 8 inches. There are special places on the mirror to write the following:
Battery                         Lubrication                         Tune Motor
Change Oil                   Spark Plug                          Mileage
These actual words are written on the mirror which is why it is called a "service mirror". The metal fasteners are on the mirror which are used to attach the mirror to the visor. Where the straps are located, the mirror looks slightly hazy on the front.

Sadly, most of us use just a fraction of the capabilities of our phones, but the fact we have all that clever tech tucked in our trouser pockets gives car makers the opportunity to harness it to provide more functionality for their cars.

Martini Mustang makes more with less weight

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The Martini Mustang is based on a supposition. “Suppose Ford executives had a chance business meeting with the owner of Martini Racing,” wondered Steve Strope, founder of Pure Vision Designs in Simi Valley, Calif. “This meeting could have taken place during a European F1 or rally race, perhaps.
