Vintage Motorcycle Car Truck Headlight Glass Marble Covers Harley Triumph Ratrod on 2040-parts.com
Farmersville, Ohio, United States
Up for bids is an old set of 2 custom headlight covers. No makers marks on them but was told they were Hollywoods? If someone knows, let me know and I'll add it to the listing. They measure 8 x 3 3/4" and bend to most common diameters. 3 glass marbles are trapped in them. Greens on the outer sides and amber in the middle. They have "Rust Proof" stamped into them on the top. Chrome is not perfect and could use a cleaning. These will sure give you an old school look. Great for old cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Be sure to check out my other auctions for more old Car, truck and motorcycle stuff. I'll be listing things in the coming weeks so check back as it will be everchanging. I will gladly combine auctions on shipping in one box to save you money. I do not have handling fees and try to get the actual shipping. I use UPS Priority mail so things are insured up to $50.00 and you have a tracking number. I tend to overpack items so they arrive safely and sometimes this ups the cost as the box size gets bigger but I want your winnings to be safe. PLEASE ask all questions before bidding. I can easily send or add more pics if you need them so that is not a problem. If you would like to have more insurance on the item it is your choice. Let me know and I'll get the standard fee that USPS charges. |

Elemental RP1 track-focused sports car revealed
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The Elemental RP1 revealed ahead of Goodwood FoS At the beginning of the month we ran a tease from a new start-up car maker teasing their track-focused sports car – the Elemental RP1 – and now, ahead of its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this week, Elemental have done the full reveal of the RP1. Due to be ready to sell by this time next year, Elemental bravely proclaim the RP1 as previewing a new generation of world class British sports cars, and the spec does at least offer more than a hollow promise, fingers crossed and lots of hype. Based on a lightweight carbon and aluminium tub wrapped in body panels to fully enclose the underpinnings, has double wishbone suspension with inboard Eibach springs and Nitron dampers, 4-pot Caparo calipers and 17″ alloys.
Ford C-Max and Mondeo spotted in Detroit
Mon, 26 Mar 2012Detroiter Spencer Abbott spotted a couple of Euro Fords out cruising the boulevards of suburban Detroit this weekend. Like a good Autoweek reader, he snapped a few photos as soon as it could be done safely. The C-Max can be easily explained, as Ford plans to start selling the little people mover stateside this fall.
Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake for Geneva debut
Mon, 24 Feb 2014This leaked photo seems to be a new Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake It seems Ian Callum was right all along about an XFR Sportbrake – it now looks like Jaguar are about to go one step further than an XFR Estate with a Full Monty Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake. When Jaguar revealed the XF Sportbrake two years ago they said there would be no four-wheel-drive variants and no XFR Sportbrake either (even though Ian Callum said in 2011 there would be an XFR Sportbrake), so for the last two yeare we’ve had just diesel engine options for the XF Sportbrake. But not for much longer it would seem.
