 Vintage set of Mickey Thompson MT aluminum valve covers for small block Chevy engines size 282-400 1986 and earlier. Modified to accept an over sized K&N breather for a serious high performance engine. An aluminum tube was custom welded in place. The new K&N breather in package and chrome PCV valve are "NOT" included in this sale!!! They are only pictured to show what these valve covers look like with the proper parts installed. Valve covers are in good condition, but a lot of the original black paint had to be removed to do the welding. So they should be restored before installing. A fresh coat of wrinkle finish paint would look amazing! Sold as is! No returns! K&N and PCV are not included!!!!!

Ford unveils Mustang 50th anniversary logo

Ford is gearing up for a year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Mustang in 2014, and revealed a logo Tuesday to be used on fan merchandise. The anniversary logo uses the traditional galloping pony in silhouette, placed above the words “50 years.” Ford designer Michael Thompson is credited with creating the anniversary logo. The logo will either be white on a black background or black on white, Ford says.

The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) has released the new car registration data for May 2014, and revealed that the UK new car market is officially experiencing its longest period of growth since records began. Sales in May were up 7.7% compared to 2013 – making it the 27th consecutive month that figures have increased. A grand total of 194,032 new cars registered also represents the most units sold in May since 2004.
