Up for auction is a MUTHER STOPMETER Police Model - H13704, made by MUTHER MANUFACTURING Co., Boston Mass.

Made between the 1930s and 1950s this device was used to measure the speed of a moving vehicle, way before electronic devices were available. It is in good cosmetic and working condition. When you move it quickly through the air it will stop on a number representing the speed of its travel, (like feet to stop from 20 mph) and to reset the meter you only close and open the metal window cover.  This is a quality, weighty instrument. It is original with only a few minor nicks and scratches.   Thanks for Looking!

Approx. weight  2 1/4 lbs.

Will be securely packaged and double boxed for protection.                                                                                                                          D3B

Jaguar XF Sportbrake: It’s Dynamic

Fri, 31 Aug 2012

Jaguar has released a new video of the XF Sportbrake highlighting its dynamic abilities as the Sportbrake nears Jaguar showrooms. Jaguar has learnt that a drip feed – within reason – of cars to come is a good way to keep interest piqued, and with the XF Sportbrake getting close to availability in Jaguar showrooms we get a new video highlighting its dynamic abilities. The XF Estate is a car Jaguar should have had from the start of the XF’s life (despite the lack of a 4WD XF at the time), but they’re working hard to make sure the Sportbrake gets market share at the end of the current XF’s life.

Maybach reaches end of the line

Fri, 25 Nov 2011

Daimler AG is set to announce the closure of its Maybach ultra luxury brand this weekend, according to reports. The underperforming 57 and 62 limousines are to be killed off in 2013, following a decision from chairman Dieter Zetsche who has elected not to invest in their respective replacements for 2014. Following a concept car preview at the 1997 Tokyo motor show, Maybach was resurrected in 2002 after Daimler AG failed to purchase either Rolls-Royce or Bentley from then owners, Vickers.

New Audi A3 price from £19,205

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

Audi has revealed that the new 3 door Audi A3 will cost from £19,205 with first UK cars due in September 2012. The new Audi A3 debuted at the Geneva Motor Show back in March and, despite looking almost the same as the old A3, is actually an all new offering from Audi. The new A3 gets a longer wheelbase thanks to the new MBQ platform, which gives more cabin room despite the almost coupe-like looks and a drop in weight thanks to aluminium bumpers and bonnet and high-strength steel.
