This is a vintage (Ca 1960s) C.E. Niehoff & Co. (Chicago, IL)  engine-cylinder gauge (gage) with a 2-1/2” dial face.  I have not tested it, but it appears to be in nice working condition.  This is a great addition to your automotive maintenance-repair tooling.  The winning bidder will pay shipping and handling.  I will combine with other items I have listed in order to hold down shipping costs.

To be honest, Friday practice is often more tactical than anything else so we shouldn’t read too much in to what’s gone on.

Concept Car of the Week: AMC Amitron (1967)

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

While the American auto industry spent most of the late ‘60s creating huge barges powered by monstrous engines with loud decals on disco paint jobs, AMC believed in the future of compact cars, fuel economy, and go-faster stripes. Designed under Richard Teague's supervision, the quirky Amitron was unveiled in 1967 in a hotel in Detroit. Measuring less than 2,200mm long, it is 350mm shorter than a Smart Fortwo and its wide track gave room for three passengers seating abreast.
