The item up for bid is a near mint set of parsons lake n sea side rear emblems. These came with my 1959 lake n sea boat. I believe they are nos as they are in almost mint condition besides a few very small scuffs. If fully polished they would be mint. I think they are correct for a few other year models as well. They measure 12 1/4" long. Very very hard to find in this condition and make the perfect finishing touch on a restoration. The last pic is my 1959 boat they they were for. Bugatti rolls out another ‘Legends’ Special – the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Black Bess
Fri, 11 Apr 2014It’s the Bugatti Veyron Black Bess No, Bugatti hasn’t named their latest Legends limited edition car – the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Black Bess – after Dick Turpin’s horse (well, not directly anyway), but after the Bugatti Type 18 – dubbed Black Bess – which was the Bugatti Veyron of its day. Only seven Type 18s were built – between 1912 and 1914 – and just three remain, with the one dubbed Black Bess (which did get its name from Dick Turpin’s horse) on display in the Louman Museum in The Hague and complete with its 5.0 litre four-cylinder engine good for 100bhp and a top speed of 100mph. The new Black Bess Bugatti is a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse with 1184 ‘black’ horses, a 0-62mph of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 233mph and comes with a carbon fibre body painted in black with gold highlights (and looking like a 1970s JPS F1 livery).
Infiniti to get Audi A3 fighter in product blitz
Mon, 04 Jul 2011Nissan plans to introduce a compact, entry-level Infiniti model below the G series to compete against such cars as the Audi A3 and Lexus CT 200h. The car would be part of a global product blitz to build Infiniti's lineup to 10 vehicles from seven by 2017. The car would be based on the Etherea concept shown in March at the Geneva auto show, a person familiar with the plan says.
