*THIS IS A VERY RARE VINTAGE NOS ACCESSORY UNIFORM POCKET PATCH FOR KLEPFER'S BUICK CADILLAC LA SALLE DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL PIECE OF GM HISTORY. THESE WERE ALL STITCHED ON THE HEAVY ORIGINAL HERRINGBONE MATERIAL AND THEN WERE FOLDED ON THE EDGES AND SEWN ON A MATCHING UNIFORM SHOP JACKET TO MAKE THE POCKET. *A NEAT NOTE: IF THE UNIFORM COMPANY EVER NEEDED THIS COAT FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP, THEY JUST REMOVED & REPLACED THE POCKET WITH ANOTHER DEALERSHIP NAME. *THIS IS THE TRUE ORIGINAL CLOTH PATCH FROM AN OLD PATCH FACTORY. THIS WAS NEVER USED. THE CONDITION IS EXCEPTIONAL. *THESE ORIGINALLY WERE ALL SEWN ON A SOLID PIECE OF CLOTH AND THEN WERE INDIVIDUALLY CUT OUT AS NEEDED. *THIS IS ONE OF THOSE GREAT OLD ACCESSORIES THAT LOOKS GREAT TO BE SHOWN WITH A VINTAGE CAR AS LISTED ABOVE, TO BE WORN ON A JACKET, OR TO BE FRAMED UNDER GLASS. *I HAVE USED THE REFERENCE OF MODELS LISTED AS THIS WOULD HAVE APPLIED TO THE YEARS LISTED. *Our company is Sherman Auto Sales,Inc. Fri, 11 Oct 2013BMW i3 Range Extender engine adds 10% to the price The BMW i3 – BMW’s first foray in to a world of electric cars – was officially revealed in July – and due on sale in 2014 – and seems, by electric car standards, to be almost affordable. At a starting price of £30,680 – £25,680 after the taxpayer bribe for EV buyers – it’s no more expensive than other electric cars and does come with some clever technology – and the BMW badge – that will help it move out of showrooms. But as we reported as far back as 2011, the BMW i3 is to get a range-extender option – a small petrol engine that kicks in to recharge the batteries when they get low – which will make the i3 a much more practical proposition.

At last year’s Worthersee Tour Volkswagen brought along a pair of Golf Cabriolets – the VW Golf GTI Cabriolet and the VW Golf R Cabriolet – signalling some proper performance from a drop-top Golf. At the time we commented that the Golf R Cabriolet would definitely be made, but by the time Volkswagen revealed the production version of the Golf GTI Cabriolet at Geneva in March we were moved to ask “What about the Golf R Cabriolet?”.
Mercedes-Benz unveils AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept
Mon, 18 Nov 2013Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept that will be featured in the upcoming Gran Turismo racing game. The concept features bulbous wheelarches and a long hood stretching back to the pushed-back cabin, designed to emphasize its aerodynamics, while the grille is a reinterpretation of the wide Mercedes-Benz sports car grille with the central star. It also features gullwing doors and side-view cameras, together with racing-inspired elements such as the release catches on the hood and fuel caps positioned on the roof.
