Condition:New

Here is a pair of new old stock fender cleats for a Century or Chris Craft wooden boat. They are made by Wilcox and Crittenden. These teardrop bottom, two hole cleats are NOS and perfect. No pits or scratches. I bought them for my boat but once I had my boat in the water and at my dock, I found I did not need a fender bumper for my dock. It's too bad because these are really nice and cute little cleats. As you can see by the photos the cleat is torpedo shaped and is 1.5" and the teardrop base is also 1.5 inches. This is a great buy and hard to find item for someone restoring a vintage boat. I put a photo of my 1960 Century Roan boat on just for kicks. I am so proud of it and that it is finally finished.

Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max get 1.0 litre EcoBoost

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

Ford has announced that the C-Max and Grand C-Max can now be had with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine with either 100PS or 125PS. It looks like Ford are determined to offer the little 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine in every car they make. In fact, if they still built a proper D-Segement car like the Scorpio it would probably find its way there too.

Volkswagen Touran Match released

Tue, 28 Jul 2009

Volkswagen has announced the VW Touran Match It’s hard to get excited about the Touran, with its boxy profile and drab – though comfortable – interior. But it’s very practical with its three rows of seats, which can actually be removed (they aren’t too heavy) giving you a very useful van for lugging gubbins around. But the Touran is a decent enough drive, even if the ride is a bit on the firm side., and its build quality shows through in the distinct lack of shake, rattle and roll.
