Tesla: Model S sales to begin in second quarter of 2012
Tue, 11 Jan 2011Tesla Motors plans to begin delivering the Model S electric sedan in the second quarter of 2012 and expects to produce about 20,000 units annually, the company said at the Detroit auto show on Monday. Tesla has booked more than 3,000 reservations for the Model S in North America and Europe. The car's expected base price is $49,000.
Hyundai names former GM exec Shannon as U.S. marketing boss

Steve Shannon was named vice president of marketing for Hyundai Motor America on Wednesday and will officially take his position on April 18, Hyundai spokesman Chris Hosford said.

Design director Marek Reichman said: 'It is an honour to win this award in Italy, where many great designs originated from, and this victory shows that Aston Martin has successfully developed their own renowned design language over the past years.
