Up for your consideration is a New Old Stock Vintage Luber-Finer , Inc. Model LG-3 Gasoline Fuel Filter Cartridge with output line gasket . This vintage quality USA built filter was used on some models of the 1959 - 1961 Edsel and Ford passenger autos , trucks and vans equipped with either the V8 ( 352 , 332 & 292 ) or 6 cyl ( all Models ) of engines . This filter does interchange with the AC GF-70 , Fram PG3-PL , FoMoCo COAE-9155A , Purolator / Puro GF-11-3 , Wix 33035 just to name a few . This dent free metal full flow replacement filter canister has a tip to tip length of 3 21/32" , has an outside diameter of 1 15/16" and the inlet has the 1/2 - 20 female fitting outlet is the male fitting . Believe this filter could also work on earlier / later years , different equipment models and by custom builders as well but You have my part number and measurements so do your homework for your proper filter needs and Please use the ebay compatibility as an incomplete possible placement chart Only . This replacement in line fuel filter cartridge has been stored high and dry for some time now covered in the original box that is still in good shape . The dent and rust free metal housing has great unfinished metal color with just a hint of some age discoloration / storage box scuff marks , see pictures . This hard to find near mint condition filter element could be proudly displayed in its original box until your daily ran machine needed a filter change and then it would be the proper fitting filter cartridge to guarantee the manufacturers performance specifications on that special daily used workhorse or on the classic original equipment survivor show stutters .
