Vintage, used, aged, GOODYEAR WIDE TREAD F70 15 RWL tire is sold AS IS.
The bead is damaged, on one side especially as pictured but the sealing surfaces look sound. Treadwear is almost nonexistent as pictured and the tire appears to have traveled only as a spare for very few miles. No repairs/patches/plugs were observed anywhere on the tire. Sidewall is nice with nice prominent letters as pictured. The tire shows some signs of age with sidewall cracking on the backside especially in one area as pictured so study the pics and ask questions. It also appears to have spent some time in a spare tire well as there are some subtle impressions on one sidewall likely caused by prolonged repose atop light road gravel in a caddy beneath the car. Tire has nylon cord construction. Originally mounted on a wide wheel, the tire has been off the rim for years and shows some dirt and grime so it will need a clean up for show. Also worth mentioning is some light overspray present on the tire which I suspect will clean off easily with the right solvent. It is unknown if it holds air but I suspect it will from careful observation. Ideal for use as a show spare for a vintage Corvette or any car that used this size originally. In a bid to get that same group excited about the new Dodge Dart, Chrysler enlisted Travis Pastrana to pilot its Global RallyCross entry. And in a sort of low-budget, less-elaborate version of Block's wacky-upon-zany Gymkhana videos, Pastrana puts the Dart through its paces, losing the passenger-side rear corner of the bodywork in the process.

Tue, 17 Dec 2013Jaguar EATS Mercedes ‘Magic Body Control’ Chicken Mercedes-Benz recently produced a fun video to demonstrate their Magic Body Control using a bunch of chickens to show how, despite undulations, bumps and potholes, MBC would keep everything in shape. The video of the ‘Magic Body Control Chickens’ was a rare glimpse at German humour (although the humour may well have been an accident) and a great way to demonstrate MBC. But we wonder if Mercedes sense of humour will stay intact with Jaguar’s latest video?
