Vintage Old School Coffin Chopper Gas Tank–harley Davidson Custom Triumph, Honda on 2040-parts.com
Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States
Up for sale is this Old School Custom Coffin Gas Tank. I had it on a Harley back in the late 60's. It is well built and seems to be in good shape. It is strong, solid and straight. It was built in the USA with lightweight but strong fiberglass. It has two tanks built into it with an internal divider. The top holds about 1 gallon of gas and the bottom holds about 1-1/2 gallons. The original finish is gold metal-flake bonded in the fiberglass. It has an internal copper vent tube that comes out the bottom and a gas supply threaded fitting for shut off valves on each half of the tank. Uses standard Harley gas caps. The weight is a little over 5 pounds. The approximate dimensions for tank are (Measured from top width and length 17" x 9-1/2" x 4-1/2" Side front height 7" Side back height 2-3/4"). It needs new mounts on the bottom for your application by using fiberglass epoxy resin which can also be used to touch up any nicks then sanded. (Has a few minor nicks on top of corner). Will ship Worldwide for costs. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. |

The badge now covers the entire Skoda range, employing just two direct-injection, common-rail turbo diesel four-pots across all eight models, both of which are used in VW’s BlueMotion cars. It’s the 75bhp 1.2-litre engine for the Fabia and Roomster, while the Octavia, Yeti and Superb get the 105bhp 1.6-litre unit.

Volvo’s KERS system improves performance and cuts fuel use.
Thu, 27 Mar 2014The Volvo S60 with KERS Flywheel (pictured) boosts economy and performance As car makers continue to get bashed by more and more stringent CO2 targets from governments around the world, cleverer solutions are called for to squeeze the best performance and economy balance possible from their products. And Volvo’s new Flywheel KERS system does look promising. Volvo are currently running UK tests of a KERS flywheel system developed by Flybrid Automotive, which takes kinetic energy generated under braking and stores it in a flywheel fitted to the back axle.
