After a good thirty (plus?) years of accumulating, the owner has made a decision to start cleaning things up & selling some items; beginning with the contents of the 1840s barn. Some of this stuff was in there when he bought the property in the early 1980s & was in there since before World War II....
Condition is as plainly shown: obviously noticeable oxidation, some scale & light pitting. We DID perform a modest improvement & cleaned one on the wire wheel grinder, to illustrate their potential... Undersides remain unmarked. They would look pretty smokin' if they were sand-blasted, polished & nickel-chrome plated ---but we leave such treatment to the new owner. What you see is what you get: one in the 'before' condition & one in the 'after' condition; so there's two pieces included in the lot. Today we get the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition. We can but assume that either Porsche has stumbled on a job lot of black paint and leather, or the designer of their limited edition models is going through their dark phase.
