Vintage original  10 1/2 " x 13 1/2 "  April, 1931 COUNTRY GENTLEMAN magazine advertisement in good condition (examine scan carefully before bidding) featuring a 1931  OLDSMOBILE  4-DOOR  SEDAN. 2nd & 3rd scans show all of both sides of the AD. Reverse side is an advertisement for WOLVERINE WORK SHOES & GLOVES. Olds copy reads in part: " The NEW OLDSMOBILE IS A GREAT ALL - ROUND PERFORMER  The new Oldsmobile is an unusually satisfactory car to drive because of its abilities in every phase of performance... OLDSMOBILE  PRODUCT OF GENERAL MOTORS. " Add to a collection. Great to display with your vintage Olds at car shows and cruises. Decorate your office or garage. The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 We have to confess that the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 – aka the Ferrari Daytona – is one of our favourite Ferraris. The Ferrari Daytona marked the start of the modern age of Ferrari for us; the end of the bulbous cars that went before and ended with the glorious 250 GTO, the Daytona was sleek and modern and as sexy as hell. Even those who don’t know one Ferrari from another would probably know the Daytona from its starring role in many a film – A Star is Born, The Long Goodbye, Gone in 60 Seconds and many more – or from the Miami Vice TV series (although that was a replica).

The new BMW M6 Gran Coupe - officially revealed this week – will cost from £97,490 when it goes on sale in May 2013. The M6 Gran Coupe gets the same, very convincing, looks of the regular Gran Coupes, but with added visual butchness thanks to a front spoiler, flared wheelarches, side skirts, rear diffuser and a carbon fibre roof. That promised aggression is reinforced by the M6 Gran Coupe’s powerplant that comes from the M6 and M5 with a 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 delivering 553bhp and 50lb/ft of torque – available from 1,500 to 5,750rpm – which is enough to get the M6 Gran Coupe to 62mph in 4.2 seconds.

If the 1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra II isn't quite your thing, why not give the 1984 Ford Mustang SVO a try? In the Jan. 3, 1983, issue of Autoweek, we previewed a different take on the pony car -- one that promised "visual subtlety with unsubtle performance." Built on the Fox platform, the Mustang SVO (for "Special Vehicle Operations") wasn't supposed to be a flashy package for the wannabe racer -- it was designed from the ground up to be a balanced road car, "a state-of-the-art performance vehicle for the absolutely no-compromises performance buyer." And when we say "ground up," we mean it.
