Nissan LEAF EV - 15k sold worldwide, but just a handful in the UK As electric cars go, the Nissan LEAF is one of the best. It looks like a proper car – even if it’s not exactly drop dead gorgeous – it has the accoutrements of a real car and you can pile in your shopping and the kids just as you could in any other family sized hatch. But from our perspective the LEAF is an orange trying to be a banana.

We've seen bits and pieces of it -- most notably, that statement-making spindle grille -- make it to production cars. The Range Rover Sport TDV8 Ultimate Update: Land Rover are on the ball despite it being a Bank Holiday weekend. They’ve been in touch to say there are no plans for a UK version of the RRS TDV8 Ultimate. So we know that Land Rover are going to plant a new 4.4 litre diesel in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport (and probably Jaguar in the new XJ TDV8 too).
