An original 10 1/4" x 13" magazine advertisement in good condition featuring the 1965 MERCURY COMET CALIENTE 2-DOOR HARDTOP. Scan 2 shows all of the ad. Copy reads in part:"Comet Caliente (shown with drivers in "ready" gear) was one of three on the Cape Horn - Fairbanks grind..."  Will be shipped in a cardboard mailing tube. Britons warned of highway robbery

HOLIDAYMAKERS have been warned that Britons are being targeted by highway thieves on a busy Spanish toll road. More than 120 British drivers have been the victims of sneaky thefts on the AP-7 motorway near Barcelona, according to the AA. Thieves have been flagging cars down and then distracting their occupants while one of the offenders steals their possessions.

The BMW i8 being filmed for BMW TV Just the other day we brought you the BMW i3 out playing in Scandinavia so, to complete the set, we thought we’d add to that with the BMW i8 doing exactly the same. These photos of the i8 being snapped in the snow are being reported as camouflaged cold-weather testing for BMW’s new “i” range of cars. Which – if you look carefully at the front of the i8 above – would seem unlikely.
