Here is a rare find. This is an ORIGINAL 5-3/8" FIRESWEEP SCRIPT EMBLEM, believed to be from a 1957 Desoto. It is in very good condition. The only notable flaw is the gold color finish is showing some wear on the front side of the emblem (minor). There is no pitting and the mounting posts are all still in tact. Overall, a very nice original that is becoming exceptionally hard to find. Please check out the photos and email us with questions before bidding. BMW MegaCity - Range Extender option A year ago, when BMW revealed the BMW Concept ActiveE 1-Series in Detroit we had a big old press release. And inside that press release was the small gem that the MegaCity part of BMW’s project-i would include drivetrains other than electric. We’re not sure BMW ever said that its MegaCity cars would be all electric, although we’re probably not alone in having assumed that.

The 2011 Ford Explorer Because it’s unlikely we will get the 2011 Ford Explorer on this side of the Pond, we haven’t covered its interminable tease in any real detail. Yes, we reported on the 2011 Explorer getting Ford’s new Curve Control, an electronanny designed to cure understeer, but we didn’t report every silly photo Ford released. But not being thorough on reporting a really boring and drawn out tease is one thing, but we can’t ignore the launch of a new version of a vehicle that until quite recently was selling almost 500k a year.
