  Vintage painted metal door jam lubrication reminder plate, tag. Condition is pretty good for it's
age and purpose. Plate is made of brass plated and painted steel. By the phone number dates to at
least the mid-1960's, probably 1950's. Has light wear and a couple of tiny edge dings. There is some
glue residue on back side. Service station, shop is Associated Service; San Francisco, California. Size
is 4-1/2" x 1-1/2". Cool old survivor. Free 1st class mail shipping in the USA.

Digital Radio UK has delved into CAP and SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) data, and found that DAB is now standard equipment on more new cars than analogue-only radio. As of April 2014, 55% of all new cars come with DAB digital radio as standard. New fuel-economy labels will baffle buyers, survey says

A survey released this week suggests that revised fuel economy labels proposed by federal regulators will confuse many likely car buyers -- and will emphasize the wrong information. The branding strategy firm Siegel+Gale performed an independent online survey of 456 people over the age of 18 who intended to buy a car in the next three years. Founder Alan Siegel told Automotive News that the survey was not directly requested but has been sent to the EPA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration during the ongoing public comment period.
