Vintage Pair Yankee Fog Lights - Ford Chevrolet Chevy Plymouth Hot Rod on 2040-parts.com
Forest Lake, Minnesota, United States
FREE SHIPPING is to the lower 48; please inquire if you live elsewhere. I DO NOT know what vehicle these belong on and I cannot find a maker's mark or part number on the housing itself. They are being sold "as-is" with regard to my use or misuse of the vehicle maker names in the title of this auction listing. Each lens is marked YANKEE. The unit on the left is marked, in addition to YANKEE, "Norwalk Conn.". The lenses themselves do not match. The housing units do; they appear to be a left and a right. The lens on the left has a crack on the inside or middle (I cannot feel the crack so it doesn't appear to be on the surface). The lens on the right does not have any cracks. I have not opened either light and so cannot report condition therein. You are buying them "as-is" with regard to internal "guts" condition or lack thereof. The housings themselves appear to be in great shape, but for the rust that you can see in the photographs. I don't see any dents in either of them. They're hard to measure because of the curves, but I'm going to say that they are 4 1/2" wide as measured from the outside edge. The internal lens is about 4" across. Let me know if there're any questions that you think a layman like myself might be able to answer for you. Thanks for looking. Internal code: nr-knu-32-1..1585sp |

Concept Car of the Week: Bertone Lamborghini Genesis (1988)
Fri, 27 Jun 2014After its beginnings as a tractor manufacturer, Lamborghini quickly became synonymous with exciting supercars and luxurious gran turismos and it's remained so ever since. Bertone was responsible for the design of its finest cars including the Miura, Countach and Marzal concept amongst many others. However along the way there have been a few quirks in this otherwise thoroughbred bloodline – remember the weapons-grade LM002 SUV?
BMW Z4 sDrive 35is (2009) at Detroit motor show 2010
Mon, 14 Dec 2009These are the first official pictures of the new high-performance BMW Z4 sDrive 35is, unveiled today at the Detroit motor show. A bit of a mouthful (that's BMW's new nomenclature for you), but it's essentially the fastest, hardest Z4 to date since the recently departed M roadster curled over and died. The Z4 sDrive 35is uses Munich's existing 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six, tweaked to produce 335bhp and 332lb ft of the twisty stuff all the way from 1400-4500rpm. That's one flat torque curve, and a 29bhp jump over the regular sDrive35i.
