Renault Zoe EV (pictured) battery lease dropes to £45 a month The Renault ZOE eEV is one of the most affordable electric cars in the UK, with prices from £13,345 (after tax-payer bribe) plus a monthly cost for leasing the batteries from Renault. A bit like buying an ICE car and paying a monthly lease for the engine. But despite the Zoe’s ‘affordable EV’ tag, Renault has not had overwhelming success with the Zoe in the UK since it arrived last year, so they’ve come up with some new incentives to get car buyers to opt for their electric supermini.

Jaguar boss Ralph Speth wants the next generation Jaguar XJ to be less individual and more like the Mercedes S Class and BMW 7 Series. The ‘new’ Jaguar XJ has been with us since 2009. Well, it’s been around since it was revealed in 2009, although it took another year to actually get in to the hands of customers.

Sinkhole Corvettes to be displayed before restoration

It's going to take a while to get the eight historic Chevrolet Corvettes that were consumed by a sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum two weeks ago out of that sinkhole -- just getting a specialized crane through the doors of the museum will take time. Afterward, though, the public will be able to get a look at them in their damaged state before Chevrolet has them restored. The museum has told the Detroit Free Press that the damaged cars will be on display at the National Corvette Museum from April through June of this year, once they're exhumed.
