This is a Buy it Now listing for a two piece set of leather luggage straps for an
accessory "Leitz" trunk mounted rack on a
Porsche 356.
  • Used to hold luggage securely on top of the luggage rack, they are available in natural (brown) only. See detailed photos
  • Genuine nickel plated hardware. Natural straps can be dyed or treated with oil to vary the tone. Hand made in the USA
  • Belts measure 8 feet/244cm (left to right strap) and 70 inches/178cm (top to bottom strap) .
  • Belts are 1 inch/2.5cm wide and fit through the belt guides on the rack.
  • Over 2 feet of belt holes gives you lots of flexibility with luggage size (small luggage shown in picture, larger luggage is no problem).
  • One fixed and one sliding belt keeper means no flapping belts. 
  • These straps are a Woody's Custom Shop exclusive (hand made by the same craftsman that makes our leather rear seat luggage straps). 
  • Has the a nice embossed border on the belts and loops (two fine detail lines on the top side).
  • We also sell rear seat luggage straps for Porsche 356 in black and natural. Just re-tooled from an NOS set of PORSCHE straps.
  • Probably have similar applications on other classic cars, including fold down rear luggage racks found on Model A's. 
  • Find yourself a vintage piece of American Tourister or Samsonite and you are set.

Mini reveals John Cooper Works Concept at Detroit auto show

Today at the Detroit Auto Show Mini debuted the new 2014 John Cooper Works Concept. The JCW (as the cool people call it) is the performance version of the Mini, and the debut of the concept included a rock band and impressive amount of smoke courtesy of a fog machine. The JCW concept was decked out in traditional John Cooper Works style, and that meant an exclusive color scheme with red color accents over Bright Highways Grey paint, and 18-inch light alloy wheels.

These are the clearest images yet of Jaguar’s new F-Type Coupe, set to be unveiled next week at the LA Motor Show and due on sale in the UK by spring 2014. The car was spotted wearing a camouflage wrap by a car-mad teenager in a supermarket car park in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, a short drive from Jaguar’s headquarters near Coventry.
