Vintage Radar Detector “senturion’- Very Early! on 2040-parts.com
Gold Hill, Oregon, US
This is a vintage auto radar detector and must be at least 30 years old. I have never tried it, so I don’t know if it works. It has a square funnel antenna sticking out the rear and a sensitivity control on the front. I guess the yellow light turns on and an alarm sounds when it detects a radar signal. Great item for a automotive accessory collector.
Great item for a collector in auto electronics or unusual items.

So when we heard that Audi had confirmed – but without detail – that the Audi S1 would be at Paris everything made sense, apart from the lack of detail. But now we know why we got no detail – Audi has backtracked on the S1 and has instead planted the oily bits from the Polo GTI in to an A1 and Christened it the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI.
Ford to roll out Stop-Start in a big way
Mon, 27 Dec 2010Ford are rolling out Stop Start in North America Stop-Start is a relatively simple way for car makers to grab more miles out of every gallon of fuel a car uses by simply turning off the engine when it’s not being used. And it’s a technology that is rapidly spreading from the hybrid sector in to more mainstream cars. And high end stuff too, with Porsche rolling it out on the Cayenne and Panamera.
