Up for bid is a vintage very rare radiator cap / hood ornament by Jarvis. This has a beautiful design.

-The round top measures approximately 2 3/4" across in outer diameter, while the arrow that is attached to it measures approximately 6 1/2" long.

Stamped underneath is: Jarvis 920.

Application: I've been told this is for 1932 Nash.  It may fit other years. Please do your own research.

Condition: This is in good condition. There are no cracks or breaks. While there are spots of surface finish loss, the surface is very smooth with no pitting. There is some very slight roughness on the bottom edge. The small mounting piece underneath has some rust and damage, but this could be easily replaced. Replate for show quality.

Chrome, Horsepower and Hemis: Cadillac Escalade tops most ripped-off list

Tue, 03 Aug 2010

Just when it seems as if all we are hearing about are Chevrolet Volts and Nissan Leafs (Leaves?), turns out thieves still love their performance cars and monstrous SUVs and trucks. The Cadillac Escalade remains the most stolen car in the United States, according to the Highway Loss Data Institute. The 'Sclade was followed by the Ford F250 pickup, the Infiniti G37, the Hemi Dodge Charger (not the V6 though!) and the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

MG6 – A new MG shows at Shanghai

Tue, 21 Apr 2009

The new MG6 is unveiled at Shanghai - coming to the UK in 2010 SAIC bought the rights to Rover when Rover fell apart after its sale by BMW for £10. But they didn’t secure all the rights to the ‘Rover’ name, so we won’t be seeing new Rovers by name, but instead we are to get a Rover 75 based MG – the first new MG launch since the ZS and ZT in 2001. Yesterday SAIC unveiled the new MG6, a sport hatchback based on the Rowe 550 (which is itself based on a shortened wheelbase Rover 75) and its destined to come to the UK next year.
