Brand NEW! Never Used as intended. Very Rare Combo Fuel/Oil tank #520
Manufacturer Part Number:520 Warranty:No Brand:Moon Equiptment Co. Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Surface Finish:Sun Ray Spun Aluminum

This is a VERY RARE Moon combination fuel - oil tank. It is a little tattered from many years of 'poor' storage in a racers shop. I originally thought it was 'home made'. Upon closer inspection after I purchased it I took a good look at it and then decided it was Genuine . I then looked thru my 1965 'Moon Equipment' catalog and there it was! The tank brackets were not on it but were purchased in the same shop. They had been previously used. Could have even been pirated from the tank for use and never reinstalled ? Has great patina from bouncing around the shop. It was welded together at 'MOON' by belly banding between the 2 original tanks so as to provide 3 separate compartments. One end for Fuel. The other end for oil (or more fuel) and the center for ballast ? Or even More fuel ! Selling As Is As Shown ONLY! No Returns or Refunds !
