Vintage Rubber "cal-style" Windshield Rubber 240z 260z 280z on 2040-parts.com
Salem, Oregon, United States
This is the windshield seal from Vintage Rubber. Does not include the channel for the windshield trim, giving the car (in my mind) a more sleek look.
Bought direct from Vintage Rubber, taken out of the package to admire, and now being sold. Never attempted to install, absolutely no difference from new. |

Mercedes-Benz CL gets a facelift for 2011
Fri, 02 Jul 2010Three years after its introduction, Mercedes-Benz has given the CL a mid-cycle facelift, providing the big two-door with lightly altered bumpers--those up front with new LED daytime running lamps, reshaped headlamps, a more contoured hood, larger exterior mirrors with integrated indicators and revised tail-lamp lenses, among other detailed visual changes. More significant than the styling tweaks, however, are the changes underneath the hood, with the arrival of a new twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 direct-injection gasoline engine--the first of Mercedes-Benz's advanced MoVe powerplants that aim to bring efficiency gains to its lineup. With 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, the new engine delivers 47 hp and 125 lb-ft more than the naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 it replaces in the four-year-old CL500--enough to lower the luxury coupe's 0-to-62-mph time by 0.5 second to 4.9 seconds.

Of course, it’s the new Lexus RC-F Coupe and even though Lexus don’t say as much, they do go as far as to say that the new F model will have ‘Half the doors, twice the roar’. So, we know what to expect.
CAR scoop: BMW and Toyota's joint sports car plot
Fri, 13 Sep 2013BMW is buddying up with Toyota on an all-new sports car platform, set to underpin the replacements for the Z4, 6-series and GT86. The unlikely collaboration stems from an alliance that began in 2011, where BMW and Toyota agreed to co-develop next-generation lithium ion batteries, and for Toyota to use BMW’s fourpot diesels in its European cars. An engineering team is beavering away on the project, with the clock ticking: the suits want to outline the car’s specification before the end of 2013. What does BMW get out of the bargain?
