New Old Stock "Covmo" British-made 0.5 mm oversize pistons and rings for the Saab 850 two stroke engine.

There is some shelf wear—e.g. portions of the ring break-in coating have worn off on the cardboard wrapping. Though clearly unused, two of the pistons have had their circlips installed and have small scratches along their non-thrust side (see image #8). FWIW, the scratches were declared inconsequential by the proprieter of a local machine shop.

The new VW Passat CC R-Line So far VW has managed to add an R-Line model to the Golf, Scirocco, Touran, Tiguan, Passat Variant and Touareg and of course to the regular Passat offerings with the Passat R-Line being introduced on the saloon and Estate back in May. And now we get the VW Passat CC R-Line. Sadly – as with all recent R-Line offerings – we’re not getting power improvements but just a cosmetic job.
