Vintage Safe-T-Fan Rubber Blade Car Truck Auto Dash Fan

A great vintage automobile accessory...this fan has a marbelized brown plastic body and rubber blades to act as a safe fan for use in one's vehicle.  The fan would have likely mounted to the dashboard...unfortunately the mounting bracket is missing.  The fan has been untested and is being sold in "AS IS" and "AS SEEN" condition as its functionality is unknown.

The fan is in average vintage condition.  There is one crack/missing section of plastic to the front part of the plastic body (see photos).  Also, the rubber blades have hardened and become very fragile as a result of age.  They exhibit cracking & splits commensurate with age, use, and degradation to the rubber.  The fan also shows some general overall wear throughout.  The fan measures roughly 4.5" in length and 2.5" in diameter...it has a 3 foot cord.

The fan will ship secured via USPS Priority Mail.  Shipping and handling for this item is FREE.

Kia K9 sedan, camouflaged Sportage spied testing

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

Kia was doing a bit of vehicle testing around Mammoth Lake, Calif., last weekend, and Autoweek reader Kristoffer Gjevre was there to capture the convoy. His photos show a camouflaged small SUV/ crossover and a completely undisguised K9 sedan backed up by Hyundai Santa Fe and Veloster support vehicles. Based on the roofline and A, B and C pillars, that small crossover appears to be a Kia Sportage -- and the heavy concealment at the front and rear of the vehicle suggest updated fascias may be in the works.

Ssangyong e-XIV EV Concept at Paris 2012

Mon, 10 Sep 2012

Ssangyong are continuing their concept offensive with the e-XIV EV Concept, a range extender compact SUV. Mahindra seem intent on turning Ssangyong from the Lada of Korea in to another South Korean car maker to be taken seriously. We’ve recently seen a big push for the Korando SX, with Ssangyong pitching it hard against the competition as the cheapest way in to a compact SUV, and at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year we had a concept pointing to the next generation compact SUV from Ssangyong with the convertible Ssangyong XIV-2.
