Vintage SCHRADER SPARK PLUG TIRE PUMP - Universal with BOX & ACCESSORIES. I'd say say this item is from late 1930's according to photo in box. However it is universal on most brands & tires. It has 5 adapters with 4 still in their original boxes. Also includes hose, gauge, instructions & original metal box (has some surface rust) the name Schrader is raised embossed letters on the box. Box has a working latch. Found in a basement with automotive gems. Item is Untested. Ship weight:4 lbs.

In 2010, the $5 million Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize was up for grabs and Kuttner, a Charlottesville, Va., real estate developer and former IMSA/ALMS racer, won it with his single-cylinder-engined Very Light Car (“Lightweight Endeavors,” June 27, 2011).

It’s been revealed that the luxury concept of the new Peugeot 208 – the 208 XY – will be at the Paris Motor Show in production guise. At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot revealed a pair of concept cars based on the new 208 – the 208 GTi and the 208 XY. Yesterday we revealed that the new Peugeot 208 GTi was heading for this month’s Paris Motor Show ready for production, and now it seems it will be joined by its luxury sibling concept, also ready to go in to production – the Peugeot 208 XY.

Saab 92 coming – it just needs a platform

The original 1950s Saab 92 Victor Muller – the man who saved Saab from GM’s closure plans – wants the company to build a compact premium car, something we’ve know since before he managed to close the deal to take on the troubled Swede. And it looks like that’s close to being confirmed as Victor declares that the decision will be made in the next 100 days. Which sounds to us as if there is a deal in progress with another manufacturer to supply a platform.
