Vintage Shasta Lo-flyte Camper 13" Rim (2) on 2040-parts.com
Dixon, Illinois, US
Parting out a vintage Shasta Lo-Flyte camper. Not sure of the year, but I believe it's from the late 60's - the LP tank has a date of 7-67.
Here is a 13" rim that was removed from this camper. The rim is solid and straight. I cleaned up the inside and gave it a coat of white Rustoleum primer. There was considerable rust and pitting on the inside of the rim which (you can see the pitting in the pics). The front and back of the rim has considerable surface rust as well as some deeper rust with pitting. Rim width looks to be 4 1/2".

Thanks for looking and God Bless.

Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival is full
Fri, 26 Mar 2010Steve Earle, the granddaddy of vintage racing in America, has picked 375 historic race cars to fill the field at his Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival, June 5-6 at Infineon Raceway in California's wine country. "The cars are the stars," said Earle. "And when they aren't racing, they are easily accessible in this area for the fans for that up-close and personal experience of inspecting engines, talking with owners or otherwise learning more about the sport and the restoration and maintenance of vintage cars." Earle said the event will continue the tradition of the Monterey Historic Automobile Races, which he founded 37 years ago.
