From a local estate sale, this is an old half helmet, stamped Shorty on the earcuff. There is no size anywhere but it measures 23 inches around the inside. The outside is in super condition with just a few nicks as shown. The inside foam is missing as usual but the fabric and styrofoam lining are all very good. Vinyl sides are all soft and not damaged, the buckle does not have any rust and the strap is fine. The faceshield is made by Gran-Prix and has some scuffing on it. This is probably the nicest old half helmet I have seen. Comes with a helmet bag that it was kept in.

As we already know, the new Golf GTI comes with a 2.0 litre TFSI engine good for 217bhp or, if you opt for the Performance Package, you can have an extra 10bhp – enough to cut the standard GTI’s 0-62mph (6.5s) by 0.1 seconds and add an ectra 3mph to the top speed (rises to 155mph).
