Vintage SIDI motorcycle cafe racer boots!

EXCELLENT condition, appear to have been very little if at all. Soles show very little wear. No gear shift wear present, no scuffs, in amazing shape!

Leather still nice an pliable, all zippers intact and working. No smells.

Smaller size, soles measure 10 1/2 x 3 1/2, great size for display. No markings inside so I'm not sure of exact size, so be sure to compare with boots you currently own..... I had these on display in my office.

Shipping 16.00 in the US, overseas please contact me for a quote. Thanks for looking!

Please note: Please look at all photos and feel free to ask any questions as I cannot offer returns. I describe my items as they are and cannot accept returns on vintage items esp. for fit. It is a cost I can no longer afford. I have also had complaints concerning shipping costs which are determined by the USPS. In most cases I end up eating some of the cost. I calculate costs from the USPS web site. I am unemployed for the summer (school teacher) and cannot offer free or low cost shipping. If my shipping costs are not agreeable, please do not participate in the auction. Thank you.

2015 Corvette Stingray will get an eight-speed automatic transmission

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

2015 Corvette Stingray buyers will have a new transmission option when they head to dealer lots next year: An eight-speed automatic that will supposedly weight less than the six-speed it replaces and boasting quicker shift times than the dual-clutch in the Porsche 911. Named the 8L90, this eight-speed will be built in Ohio and will also be found on the upcoming Corvette Z06. If the gearbox is capable of handling the 625 hp put down by that supercharged beast, we're sure it'll take on the regular Stingray's 455 hp without breaking a sweat.

Bonneville broadcast will add pepper to the salt

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

If you've ever been to Bonneville during Speed Week, you know what a thrilling corner of the motorsports world the place occupies: standing out on the endless, blazing-white expanse of salt, hearing the cars before you see them, seeing first the roostertail of salt rocketed into the air, then the tallest part of the rear fin, then the car itself, blasting over the curvature of the Earth, followed by engine cutoff, popping chutes, deceleration and the giddy celebration of driver and crew as yet another record falls. But most people -- those with jobs, kids, responsibilities (where are your priorities, people???) -- will never get a chance to go. So this year, the Southern California Timing Association has made a deal to broadcast audio of the entire Speed Week live, as it happens, direct from the salt, on the fabulous internet.

Vauxhall Vectra renamed as Insignia

Mon, 03 Dec 2007

By Motor Industry 03 December 2007 09:46 Vauxhall has renamed its Vectra replacement, and like we all thought, it's going to be called Insignia. According to Vauxhall the Insignia name represents 'a new name for a new era', and we'll see if Vauxhall is telling the truth when the covers come off the new car at the British Motor Show in July 2008. It's a big claim for Vauxhall, but the teaser shot (above right) shows that at least Vauxhall seems to have gotten the design of the Insignia right.
