You are bidding on a removable slotted backrest for an mid to late 60's Ski-doo Alpine double track.  The seat could be used to support single or double riding.  If you wanted to ride single, you would remove the read back rest and place it in the middle of the seat to support your back.  If you are not sure if this will fit your sled, you can look to see if it has these thin metal slots. As you can imagine, this is a rare accessory that will make your ride way more pleasant.  Any questions let me know.

Volvo XC60 gets R-Design package

The Volvo XC60 is the next in line to get the R-Design treatment, and it will debut in September at the Frankfurt auto show. The R-Design brings sporty looks to the XC60 with a vamped-up style, a specially tuned sports chassis and a more direct steering gear ratio. The exterior resembles R-Design features on the C30, the S40, the V50 and the XC90.

Audi R8 e-tron: Killed off before it launches?

It’s being reported that the electric Audi R8 e-tron is close to being killed off before production starts, as Audi question its viability. But it now looks like Audi has finally woken up and seen the light and they have put the R8 e-tron plans on hold indefinitely as they realise there is just no market for an electric car, never mind an electric supercar. Car and Driver are reporting that Audi’s new head of R&D - Wolfgang Dürheime – has halted all work on the R8 e-tron and it seems highly likely the project will be scrapped altogether.
