This Snap-On Racing decal states "When Performance Counts". These Snap-On decals are from the stock inventory of a previous Snap On dealer. They are authentic vintage and measure approximately 7" wide and 5-1/2" tall.
A very sharp and classy decal with a burst of color. Sorry for all the reflections off the shiny decal; can't be avoided. Snap on part number is SSX-1565. Thu, 26 Apr 2012Connecting the dots that lead to Chevrolet's as-yet-unnamed new model seems to lead back to one storied name: SS. The latest clue that a rear-wheel-drive performance sedan named simply SS could soon join nameplates such as Malibu and Suburban in Chevy's lineup came from an unlikely source: GM itself. A page on the OnStar Web site had listed the GM models that are compatible with a mobile app that gives owners remote vehicle access through their smartphones.

This made-up-by-Ferrari record was for the fastest time round the Nurburgring by a road based car, or so Ferrari claimed. Of course, they were wrong on so many levels, despite the 599xx setting a cracking time of 6m 58.16s.
