You are bidding on a Vintage Spark Plug Collection, more than 130 plugs, a Low-Tension Mechanical Ignitor, plus lots of connectors and cap nuts. I amassed this lot in the late-'50s, when I was a youngster, just before I got my first Model A. My great uncle had an old machine shop in Montague, CA which kept the farmers, ranchers, and mines functioning during the depression. He saved the old multi-part plugs to make pipe fittings, salvage material to help people get by. But that was a long time before I sorted through all the buckets and boxes of plugs he had around.
There are some beautiful plugs here, like the Sootless, easily worth $50 or more apiece to some collectors; others that are good only for parts; and many that can be cleaned up nicely. Lots of trading stock! Plus an old make-or-break mechanical ignitor, a valuable collection of old connectors and cap nuts, and a nice tin Champion spark plug box.
