It has been well made with thick, good quality leather and has survived the years in good order showing minor wear from use. The leather is still in good order and is soft and supple showing only minor wear from use and a couple of areas of surface scuffs. The zips are all present and working fine. The lining of the jacket is also in good order with only minor marks and a couple of small holes from use. The belt & buckle, epaulets and snaps are in good order.

DESCRIPTION:  Vintage Stagg Brando-style leather motorcycle jacket for Harley Triumph BSA

A very nice Australian-made Stagg leather motorcycle jacket dating from the 1970s to early 1980s period. It was made by Stagg in Melbourne and is a Brando-style leather jacket featuring epaulets and a leather belt. The label reads "Stagg Melbourne, Made in Australia". A nice surviving example of the classic old Stagg motorcycle jacket. I can't see a size label - it looks to be a small size. Jacket measures approx: length shoulder to bottom hem = 20 inches,  18 inches armpit to armpit, sleeve length = approx 22 1/2 inches shoulder seam to cuff, approx 34 inch waist, approx 36 inch chest.

Hybrid Cars are Dangerous

Sat, 04 Jul 2009

Hybrid cars are reckoned to be dangerous to vision-impaired pedestrians - but Lotus has a solution with 'Safe & Sound' But this is about the problems that are starting to arise when Hybrids (and EVs for that matter) are running ‘Silently’. And with sales of Hybrid cars rocketing – particularly in Japan – it is causing concern to the authorities. So the Japanese Government has set up a panel to investigate the problem, consisting of consumers, vision-impaired groups, the police and representatives from the car industry.
