Up for bid is a beautiful vintage steering wheel center cover only. Stamped on the face is: Advance, Retard, Open, Close. 

Stamped on the back is: 330320    2.  The face measures 2 27/32" across in diameter. The mounting holes measure approximately 1 3/4" from hole center to hole center. This maybe aluminum, I'm not sure?

Application: I'm not sure of the exact application, but I believe this is from the 1920's. If this doesn't fit your car, please check our other listings for more steering wheel center parts, spark / throttle / retard lever parts, and horns. Please do your own research.

Condition: This is in very good condition. There are a few small dings and pin prick sized pits. There are no cracks or breaks. The surface feels very smooth. Replate for show quality. Beautiful vintage part and a rare find!

Toyota reveals safety research car at CES

One day before the International Consumer Electronics Show opened its doors in Las Vegas, Toyota took the wraps off the highest-tech Lexus LS ever made. The car -- with spinning sensors and probing lasers galore -- is meant to demonstrate safety features that could be coming to production cars someday soon. Called the Advanced Safety Research Vehicle, it sure looked like some of the autonomous self-driving vehicles we saw at the DARPA Challenge, but Toyota stressed that a robot car is not the goal.

Chris Bangle – the undisputed front man of car design – needs little introduction, so the prospect of the former BMW Design Director and now founder of Chris Bangle Associates giving a talk in our home town of London was too good to pass up. His presentation (which you can watch in full in the video to the left) touched on his time at BMW, but was more focused on the idea of empowering others to create: "design without you in the middle", as Bangle says. From the story of the co-creation of the staircase in his Italian studio to the idea of encouraging people to think about their culture when designing, his philosophies transcend disciplines.
