Dodge Viper operations draw limited interest
Thu, 28 May 2009Chrysler LLC's Viper sports car business has drawn only limited interest from buyers, according to court statements filed in connection with the automaker's bankruptcy hearing. Chrysler recently offered to sell the entire Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, which builds the Dodge Viper sports car, for $10 million, Chrysler Chairman Bob Nardelli said in a statement. "We received no purchaser interest," he said.

So it’s entirely appropriate the VW chose the LA Motor Show to launch what will be the last version of the Beetle before an all new Beetle arrives in 2012. The Final Edition Beetle marks eleven years of almost unchanged production for a less than convincing recreation of a motoring icon.

The ADAM by Bryan Adams will feature black wheels and dark gray camouflage paintwork reminiscent of NATO winter patterns. Adams created the design himself, because when you think "Bryan Adams" -- you think winter camouflage!
