Vintage Sterling Pro Glitter Metal Flake motorcycle chopper bobber helmet.

Finish blemishes as shown CLEARLY in pics from all angles.

Neat black/red flamed wings design.

Believe the helmet to be from 1976.

Liner cap piece and padding at top seems missing but remainder intact.

 Strap and buckle affixed well.

Not sure of size but I am 6'4 and 250 pounds and it will fit me albeit a little tight especially with glasses.

I find no definite size marking.

No visor or shield.

Great rough tough old school look.

A look at Cadillac future products

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

General Motors has green-lighted the development of a large flagship sedan for Cadillac, sources say, part of its plan to position its luxury brand's lineup to take on the German luxury stalwarts in every key sedan segment. The flagship sedan is to be built on a new rear-wheel-drive platform and arrive by 2015. The long-rumored rwd flagship would challenge the BMW 7-series and Mercedes-Benz S-class and is a key to GM's ambitions to expand Cadillac in China.

AutoWeek office swag: Mazda rotary-engine keychain with realistic motion

Fri, 20 May 2011

When I got the keys to our long-term 2011 Mazda 5 last week, they came with a surprise--this aluminum-and-brass keychain in the shape of a rotary-engine housing, complete with moving rotor. The rotor doesn't just rattle around or spin in a circle. Thanks to a thumbwheel on the back of the housing, coupled with a timing gear and offset crank journal, the thing actually moves in an approximation of epitrochoidal motion just like a real Wankel.

Imre Molnar's lasting legacy

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When I hear people use the words "senseless" or "tragic" to qualify death, the grammarian in me shudders. It seems they're modifying an absolute -- like saying "very unique," which by the definition of unique means one of a kind and can't be modified further. Of course, the majority of deaths are senseless and tragic, so to qualify it darkens the lily.
