Sterling Spec Sheet HCS297 Really cool old Sterling HCS297 Spec sheet. This is an original vintage one page, front and rear, sales specification sheet. Page is about 8.5 inches by 11 inches. This one looks like it got wet along the top, some minor discoloring along top, some wear. Notable Atlanta car guy, Grammy-wining rapper and barbershop owner Killer Mike might be the first rapper to shout out Autoweek from the stage of a major music festival. He and his musical collaborator, the Brooklyn-based indie-rap mogul and DeLorean devotee El-P, put out the critically acclaimed, self-titled album “Run the Jewels” over the summer and, on Wednesday, they released the video for a single called “Banana Clipper,” which features legendary Cadillac man Big Boi.
Italdesign Giugiaro debuts electric Clipper MPV
Thu, 06 Mar 2014The Volkswagen T-ROC wasn't the only Geneva Motor Show concept unveiled this week that uses the Golf platform, Italdesign Giugiaro unveiled an MPV concept that managed to turn quite a few heads. Italdesign is owned by Volkswagen, so this design and engineering exercise seemed like a no-brainer, allowing the company to show off an extra concept car in an entirely different wrapper. The Clipper an all-wheel drive six-seat MPV sitting on the MQB platform, which Volkswagen is keen to expand beyond the Golf and the next-generation Scirocco, and it features two electric motors producing 149-hp each, one for each axle.
Volkswagen creates R division for sporty cars
Wed, 17 Mar 2010Volkswagen is officially creating a company to develop sporty cars; it will be called Volkswagen R GmbH. This may sound familiar--VW already calls some of its specialty cars Rs--and now it's bundling sales and development all into one unit. VW has the Scirocco R and the Golf R for cars, as well as the dynamic R Line of design trims.
