This is an NOS vintage blue faceted lens dash light, 5/8" across with new 1-1/2" lens holders (pictured are the OEM Dialco vintage lens holders, add $2 option). The last single light picture is from a vintage Stewart Warner parts catalog. SW part # D-420125.  Excellent original condition. Vintage metal bezel with high polish finish, with very light patina. SCREW IN 12 or 6v bulb, (12v bulb is included) and you're good to go. These were made many years ago, and they are similar to the type used in the SW panels of the fifties with winged gauges and Ford Model A panels. They are perfect for turn signals, or warning lights. Complete with dash fittings and bulb holder, and 12v bulb. This is a great-looking light, and the curved lens versions are really tough to find. Great for the dashboard of your 32 Ford or Chevy coupe or roadster.  Very cool rig for your custom 1932 Ford roadster, 1933 coupe with Auburn dash, or 1934 Dodge or Plymouth. Shipping is free. Seller is not responsible for consequential, incidental or punitive damages of any kind whatsoever; Seller’s liability is limited to the amount paid by Buyer including shipping/handling charges. Except as expressly set forth in the item description, seller makes NO Express or Implied warranties of any kind whatsoever about this merchandise.

We have one of the largest selections of vintage hot rod dashboard lights in the world. We are in the process of putting up as many styles as possible over the next few weeks. Many of these are limited, or one of a kind, and once they are sold, we cannot guarantee that we can get a replacement in stock, so please plan accordingly, thanks!

Film Friday: A Wonderful New World of Fords has descended from the heavens!

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

In a day when every automaker seems to be eager to latch on to the smallest details -- a few pounds of weight shaved here and there, some silly feature designed to keep you and your family protected in an accident, a flashier infotainment setup -- to sell their product, this 1960 Ford spot is a breath of fresh air. There's none of this oh-so-carefully hedged “our cars are pretty OK!” nonsense in this spot for the 1960 Thunderbird, Falcon and Galaxie. There's nary a world about fuel economy (OK, one mention -- the Falcon supposedly gets up to 30 mpg).

Porsche 911 (2011) the first official video of the 991

Tue, 19 Jul 2011

Prototypes of Porsche’s new 991-spec 911 haven’t been snapped out on test by our spies this week, so just in case you’ve been having withdrawal symptoms, Stuttgart’s most famous sports car manufacturer has released its own video of its iconic car. What does Porsche’s official video of the new 911 reveal?  Shot in South Africa during the 991’s final validation and testing phase, the video is our best look yet at the new 911 on the move. We finally get to hear the flat six engines, and get glimpses under the bonnet and inside its Panamera-inspired interior – look closely and you can spy the seven forward speeds etched onto the gearknob for the manual ‘box.  Beyond that there’s little more to see, as Porsche won’t reveal the new 911 until the 2011 Frankfurt motor show this September.
