Chrome, glass, markings in excellent shape - pointer just repainted. No light kit included but these are available through various performance parts supply houses - Summit Racing, etc., for about $2. Fri, 18 Nov 20112012 Bentley Continental GTC raises £240k for Children in Need The 2012 Bentley Continental GTC was only revealed at Frankfurt in September, and is currently getting its North American debut in L.A. But Bentley have already sold one to a generous UK buyer who stumped up £240k at a charity auction last night in aid of BBC Children in Need. The event – at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel and organised by Bentley Manchester – was hosted by the seemingly ubiquitous Gary Barlow, and had in attendance a plethora of celeb faces, including Lorraine Kelly, JLS, Chris Moyles and – as it’s Children in Need – Sir Tel of Wogan.
Fiat Panda gets 2010 updates
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Fiat has updated the Panda for 2010 Underrated though the Panda is, it’s actually a pretty good little car. Sure, it’s not exactly dynamic, but some of it’s iterations – particularly the go-anywhere Panda Cross 4×4 - are very good. So Fiat has decided it’s time for a bit of spit and polish and some new make-up, so it’s given the Panda a bit of an update for 2010.

Tue, 07 Feb 2012Nine of the 12 Formula 1 teams have released images and details of their cars for the 2012 World Championship as the first day of pre-season testing draws to a close at the Jerez circuit in Spain. Motor sport may fall slightly outside of Car Design News' usual remit, but the big story this year is the new 'stepped nose', which all teams bar McLaren have introduced to comply with new safety regulations, much to the chagrin of aestheticists. And with designers such as Daniel Simon (he produced the livery for HRT last season) and Peter Stevens (most notable for the Brabham cars of the 1980s) involved with the sport over the years, it's always interesting to check out the season's new machines.
